Headquartered in New Delhi, IR LABS India was incorporated in early 2023 and is led by founding members and seasoned talent with extensive expertise in the semiconductor industry and a strong track record of developing general-purpose microcontrollers and microprocessors, along with components like memory, ADC, and CAN.
The founding members have played key roles in leading international semiconductor and IT companies. The core team comprises 7 specialists with a collective design experience exceeding 50 years and a portfolio of 20 successfully completed projects worldwide.
Team has inherited special skills creating receiver-transmitters with isolation for wide range of applications such as automotive, aviation, and communications industries.
Our R&D team in India comprises of skilled electronics and software engineers, and accomplished IT professionals, all dedicated to advancing the Government of India’s visionary MAKE IN INDIA initiative. We strive to play a key role in transforming India into a global leader in electronics design and manufacturing.
Our microchips are proudly designed in India, harnessing the talent and innovation of Indian engineers. Our manufacturing is carried out by TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company), utilizing their state-of-the-art facilities and technology. Final assembly and quality assurance are currently performed in Taiwan, ensuring the highest standards of precision and excellence in our products.

Our Products
Our microcontrollers and microprocessors are primarily built on RISC-V cores, designed for industrial applications with a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
We focus mainly on applications in electrical engineering and have collaborated with TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductors), a global leader in chip manufacturing, to produce our mass-market MCUs utilizing 90 nm and 40 nm technologies.
